Butter to Olive Oil                                  

  • 1 teaspoon = ¾ teaspoon
  • 1 Tablespoon = 2-1/4 teaspoons

Smoothie

½ cup blueberries

½ banana

3 ounces milk

3 tbsp vanilla yogurt

1 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tbsp lemon or Blood Orange Olive Oil

Blend together until smooth and enjoy!

Orange and Dark Chocolate Spinach Salad

Spinach
1 Orange, thinly sliced
Craisins
Goat Cheese Crumbles
Walnuts
Blood Orange Olive Oil
Dark Chocolate Balsamic

Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Glaze for Fish

¼ cup Blood Orange Olive Oil
¼ cup Orange Blossom Honey
1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice and some zest
1 tbsp. Sesame Oil
1 tbsp. Pineapple Juice
1 tbsp. Ginger
1 clove of Garlic (minced)
1 ounce of Soy Sauce
Salt to taste
Whisk all of your ingredients together and you will have an unique glaze that will work with almost any fish.

The recipe given will glaze 3 medium fillets.

Healthy Slaw

Ingredients:

1 small Sweet Potato
½ of a medium Red Onion
1 peeled Granny Smith Apple
1 stick of Celery
1 Carrot stick
½ of a Lime for its juice and zest
1 ½ tbsp. of Sour Cream
1 tbsp. Blood Orange Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste!

Directions:
Start off by thinly slicing the onion and celery.  Then grate the sweet potato, apple, carrot and lime.
Stir together and add in the lime juice, mandarin orange olive oil and sour cream.
Mix together and you are ready to serve!
This slaw is delicious on tacos, sandwiches, or as a fresh tasting side dish.
